These are the findings that I reach for every day. (OK, not quite that often for the belt buckle…)
Hook, hang, connect, and finish your pieces.
Copper/Brass Trigger Clasp$0.75–$1.25
Leather Belt End$15.00
Lobster Claw Clasp$1.00–$8.50
Sterling Silver Earwires$2.00
You can add any bead to your chainmail by wire-wrapping it and connecting your jump rings to that wire wrap. However, I really like beads that can connect directly to the chainmail. I’ll be adding to this category once I have the wrinkles ironed out of the rest of the new site. Come back later to see hollow beads, donut beads, and more!
9.5mm Donut Beads$0.25
Hollow Sterling Beads$0.15–$7.80
These are my favorite claps in the world. They’re high quality, nicely secure, and each one is just bursting with geometric goodness. These are clasps to inspire entire pieces.
Polka Dot Ruffle$42.00–$101.00
Sea Urchin – Large$39.50–$160.00
Sea Urchin – Medium$38.00–$72.00
Sea Urchin – Small$33.00–$47.00
The shape is simple, but the texture is gorgeous. Bold, beautiful toggles that work wonderfully as design elements for necklaces.
Yes, these are technically pendants. But (in my opinion) they’re so much more interesting if you cut off the hang ring and work them directly into your chainmail. So many places to attach! So many options!
