These seamless sterling beads are a wonderfully sneaky way to dress up chainmail. I say “sneaky” because their round metal profile blends in with the round metal of the jump rings, adding a great texture without sparkly colorful bling. From a practical standpoint, they’re a dream to use. Fitting a curved jump ring through a solid bead can be challenging; the wire collides with the material of the bead. But with hollow beads, the jump ring can take a curved path and it’s no problem.
