I take the privacy of my customers very seriously – I don’t like it when people sell my information to spammers, telemarketers, or anybody else, and I won’t do that to you. This policy will tell you what I do with my customers’ information.
Logs:
I keep the access and error logs from my web server. These logs contain the IP addresses of computers that access the Spiderchain site, and indicate what pages, images, and files were accessed, as well as time and date information. I analyze my logs to learn how my customers use the site, and how I might make it better.
Cookies:
The Spiderchain shopping cart uses cookies to keep track of your shopping session. Cookies are small files stored on your computer by your web browser – more information about cookies can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie.
Personal Information:
I keep the name, email address, and shipping address of each of my customers – this is for the normal conduct of business. (I need to be able to ship you your order! *grin*) I keep information about past orders to help me plan inventory levels and to assist customers who ask for “more of that ring size I got in my last order.” I do not rent or sell your information to anybody. Period. If you wish to review or correct the information about you in my files, please send me email.
Links:
The Spiderchain site contains links to other web sites. The privacy policies of sites other than Spiderchain are set by those sites, not by me.
