| Solder Core Sterling |
I offer solder core sterling rings in 21ga through 14ga. They cost 25% more than the
plain sterling. Contact me if you're interested
in purchasing solder core rings.
The solder core sterling has a thin thread of solder running through the center of the wire,
meaning that if you want to solder your work you don't need to apply any external solder,
just close the ring snugly and heat it. Flux is still helpful for minimizing firescale and
helping the solder to flow.

| Spring Hard Sterling |
I usually make my sterling rings with half hard wire. However, I also stock spring hard wire in
19ga, 20ga, and 21ga. Rings made from spring hard wire will be a little stronger than the
corresponding half hard rings. They'll also be a tiny bit bigger. Pricing per ounce is the same
as for half hard sterling, just include a comment with your order letting me know which sizes you'd
like made with spring hard wire.
For more information about wire temper and hardness, see the
FAQ page.

| Karat Gold |
I do make karat gold rings, but I don't usually stock the wire. Send me
email if you want solid gold rings and I'll give
you an estimate based on current gold prices. Karat gold rings are available with
a solder core.

| Huge Rings |
The rings currently listed on the site only go up to 14ga, but I have even bigger wire!
If you want heavier gauge rings (up to 10ga) just let me know. The price per troy ounce is the same
as 14ga rings in that metal. I currently have on hand:
| sterling silver |
gold fill |
jewelry brass |
copper |
| 13ga, 12ga, 11ga, 10ga |
12ga, 10ga |
10ga |
12ga |
The other heavy gauges are available, but will take longer because I'll have to order the wire.
